EYELINER PRE-APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the best possible outcome and a smooth experience, please review and follow these pre-appointment care instructions:

By following these do's and don'ts diligently, you not only increase the likelihood of a successful and satisfying eyeliner tattoo but also contribute to the safety and overall effectiveness of the procedure.

1. Avoid Blood Thinners: For at least 24 hours prior to your appointment, please avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, or any other blood-thinning medications or supplements. This helps minimize any potential bleeding and promotes better pigment retention. This includes Aspirin, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen, fish oils tablets. Please consult your physician if this is an issue.

2. Limit Caffeine, Alcohol and Smoking: Please refrain from consuming caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours before your procedure. Avoid all smoking. These can increase sensitivity and the likelihood of swelling and bleeding. Smoking will cause skin to be ink resistant making it difficult to implant ink increasing risk for pigment loss and undesirable results.

3. No Eye Makeup or False Lashes: Please come to your appointment with clean, makeup-free, and lash-free eyes. Eyelash extensions should be removed 3 days prior to the procedure. This eliminates the risk of contamination and ensures the best adhesion of the pigment without intrusion.

4. Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, please remove them prior to your procedure. Wear your glasses instead, as contact lenses should not be worn immediately after the procedure.

5. Avoid Sun Exposure: Please minimize sun exposure and avoid tanning, both natural and artificial, for a week leading up to your appointment. Sunburned or tanned skin can affect the pigment and the healing process.

6. No Lash Serums or Chemical Treatments: Please refrain from using lash growth serums for at least one week before your appointment. No eyelash perm and/or tinting at least 3 days prior. These can make your eyelids more sensitive and affect the procedure. Discontinue Retin-A one week prior to the procedure. No Botox around the eye area 2 weeks prior.

7. Eye Drop Usage: If you use any eye drops, please let me know during your consultation. This can affect the procedure and we'll need to factor it into the care plan.

8. Medications and Health Conditions: Please inform me ahead of time if you are taking any medications or have any health conditions that might affect the procedure or healing process.

9. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before your appointment to keep your skin hydrated and promote optimal healing.

Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

I look forward to being part of your beauty journey! 💜

*If you have hyper-sensitive eyes, watery eyes, tear duct plugs or severe allergies, refractive eye surgery etc., this may not be the procedure for you. Our eyes produce saline-salt water and this WILL cause the area treated to fade or not take at all.
